Certification requirements apply at a state and territory level to individuals involved in the sale, service and promotion of alcohol in licenced premises. Certification in some States relies on the achievement of SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol.
This course covers Victorian specific requirements and is approved by the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR), which allows those who complete the course to work in licensed venues in Victoria.
Please note: On 1 January 2022, the VCGLR became the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC). The VGCCC will continue to regulate liquor from 1 January 2022 until liquor regulation is transferred to the Department of Justice and Community Services (DJCS) later in the year.
