The Annual AVTES Awards
Each year AVTES rewards our most dedicated and high achieving students and employers through the AVTES Awards.
The AVTES Awards recognise and reward excellence in training and the important contribution made by students and employers in building a productive and rewarding training culture. Which means they are a fantastic opportunity for students and employers.
Students can enhance their career prospects and be recognised for their efforts. Employers can be recognised for their investment in training and share success with employees. So why not get involved and nominate yourself or someone you work with.
They also integrate with the Victorian Training Awards. So nominees can further their achievement.

Judging
Each eligible nomination is scored by 3 judges. Judges include one Manager and one Trainer. Each category will have the same judges to ensure fairness. Each criteria is weighted equally. Points are awarded according to how well the entrant meets the criteria. Then the average of the 3 scores determines the final score.
Awards
Winners will receive the nominated prize and a framed certificate. Employer of the Year receives a trophy. All finalists receive a certificate.
Publicity
Nominees, finalists and/or winners may be published on the AVTES website, in the AVTES newsletter, and/or in local media. The nomination form includes a consent statement that all nominees are required to sign.
