I would recommend starting out with simply a spread sheet. It is free and you can do a lot with it.
There are so many software options and will depend on what other tech you are using.
I know Andrew at Cooking the Books specialises in this sort of thing and has some apps, that you could look at. https://www.cookingthebooks.com.au/
