AVTES has been delivering innovative, nationally accredited training since 1997 to meet the needs of individuals and enterprises. Our flexibility to accommodate individual and enterprise needs through customisation of all our programs means we can help you achieve your training goals more efficiently and effectively.
Over the last few years we have extended our scope of registration to provide increased depth to our services. This allows us to provide a more holistic service to our clients, providing a pathway, for students and workplaces alike, from entry level to senior management level training programs.
Our courses range from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma level, as well as a range of short courses. So you can develop the skills and knowledge to succeed in whatever job role you want.
All AVTES trainers have extensive industry experience which provides them with a strong background from which to train and assess to industry standards. All trainers have completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and are qualified to train. Trainers also undertake regular professional development to ensure they are up to date on industry trends and training innovations so they can help you reach your career and business goals.
Training is a great way to consolidate or update existing skills and knowledge, or develop new skills, whether for career advancement or personal accomplishment. Investing in training for staff increases their skills and knowledge, which translates to a more efficient and effective workforce, improved workplace practices and ultimately increased productivity. You also provide a career path for staff, which promotes loyalty and reduces turnover.
On demand enrolment means AVTES can enrol students at any time during the year in any program. Enrolment can occur directly via our website, or we can provide a hard copy enrolment pack.
Generally anyone over 15 years old can apply for AVTES courses, however some exceptions apply. Advanced courses such as Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas may have prerequisite units or knowledge levels that must be met, which is detailed in each course outline.
Disadvantaged students are encouraged to apply for all AVTES programs.

With government support for training at an all-time high, now is the ideal time to gain new skills or upgrade existing skills. Through our long term contracts with the Victorian Government, AVTES provides clients access to a range of funding opportunities for training. This supports employers in training their staff by providing economical advantages and financial assistance to eligible employers. Our expertise ensures that we recommend the best training solutions for you. Government funding opportunities you can access with AVTES are described below.
The Victorian Training Guarantee is an entitlement to a government subsidised place in recognised training to eligible individuals who are up-skilling. This means small business owners, existing employees, casual employees, and even unemployed individuals, who were previously ineligible, can now access government funded training at a fraction of the normal cost.

AVTES is your expert guide to apprenticeships and traineeships. We have been working in this field since 1997 and are recognised as leaders in innovative, quality, workplace based training.
Apprenticeships and traineeships are undertaken by students in employment. AVTES provides the training program, which combines on and off the job training to develop the skills needed for the particular occupation. Where eligible, these programs are funded by the Victorian Government with only a small enrolment fee payable.
